What languages do you speak?

Our family members can communicate in several languages.  Keep in mind, that Old School Plumbing has never missed a service call due to a language barrier - "where there's a will, there's a way".

Why do you give away so many of your professional quick-fix tips online for free?

It's our way of saying "Thank you, South Florida.  We appreciate your support".  After being in business for almost fifty years, we are obliged to give something back to the community.  We estimate that utilizing our quick-fix tips has saved our customers thousands of dollars over the years.  Also, after the destruction left by Hurricanes Wilma and Andrew, Old School Plumbing provided some free services to needy customers.

Why don't you offer coupons and sales specials?

Truth is you very seldom save money with coupons and so-called sales.  Other plumbing companies mark up their goods and services outrageously high in advance, only to mark them down later in the form of coupons, sales and specials.  This is intended to make you think that you are getting a 'deal'.  But they are only insulting your intelligence.   Old School Plumbing thinks that this is very disrespectful to you and doesn't subscribe to such immoral practices, and so we always quote you the lowest possible price the first time.

Would I have to pay extra for night or weekend service?

You will never be charged extra for night, weekend or holiday service.

How can you promise an exact service appointment time?

Because we employ ample and efficient technicians.  Our busy customers love this time-saving benefit since it eliminates waiting hours for a plumber to show up.

How do I find references for a contractor?

Ask the contractor.  Old School Plumbing has  a list of satisfied customers who are willing to give us a reference.

What if I’m not satisfied with the service?

Old School Plumbing customers expect quality service.  We promise to meet your expectations in writing and will work diligently with you until you are satisfied.  Please let us know at any time how we can improve your service experience with us.

Why are there so many unlicensed contractors?

Individuals may be unlicensed because they:
1. may not be able to meet the financial requirements;
2. may not be able to pass a background check;
3. may not meet the education or experience (skill) requirements;
4. may not meet the workers’ compensation requirements; and/or
5. may not meet the liability insurance requirements.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are fully licensed by the State of Florida to practice plumbing statewide and insured for your protection.  We are also proud members of our local Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce.  Please contact us if you will like a copy of our insurance policy and certifications be sent to you before hiring us.

How long has Old School  Plumbing been in business?

Old School Plumbing has been serving the Greater Fort Lauderdale area since 1962.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, personal or business checks and cash.  Commercial customers are encouraged to open a business charge account.
